To optimize use of available space, Plencon installed a 600 ft. automated Overhead Power & Free Conveyor System. A special feature of the system was the automatic "drop track" load/unload sections, which by design used up no floor space. In fact, the whole system was installed with 15 ft. clearance from the plant floor and provided safe storage for 60 hoods.
